Topps x Naturel / Topps Dock (ComplexCon)

Topps Dock reimagined the legend of the lost 1952 Topps baseball card cases as an immersive expedition environment at ComplexCon. Guests entered a dockside recovery site inspired by maritime exploration, complete with a pilot house, marketplace environment, and timed product drops.

Participants joined guided “expeditions” where they physically reached into a simulated sea-floor excavation to retrieve limited-edition promotional cards tied to artist Naturel’s reinterpretation of baseball history.

Hourly foghorn signals marked drop moments, transforming product distribution into theatrical storytelling. The installation combined retail, narrative world-building, and collectible culture into a tactile fan experience.
